Story

Halifax Security wanted to set themselves a challenge and a way to help a local charity.

On the 17th september 2016 Halifax Security will be taking on the three peak challenge.

Climbing Scotland, Wales and England's highest mountains within a 24 hour period. In doing so we hope to raise funds to help support the Yorkshire Children's Trust.

A small registered charity based just outside the centre of Halifax. The charity was set up by parents of families who have children suffering with cancer in the hope of helping other families in similar difficult circumstances.

They offer financial assistance to families with long term sick or disabled children in all four corners of the Yorkshire region. These grants can be used to pay for medical treatment or equipment, hospital travel costs, essential home modifications or a short family holiday for not just the disabled child, but mum, dad and any siblings too.

The charity does not receive any lottery, NHS or central Government funding so rely on local people and business for support to provide essential services to the community
