Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

We are very touched that our wonderful neighbour, Ian Wallace, is going to swim non stop for an hour to help raise funds for Noah's Galaxy Fund at Climb (Children Living with Inherited Metabolic Diseases) on 15th March this year. The swim will take place at Ards Leisure Centre at 3.15pm so why not come and cheer him on!!

Our beautiful little boy Noah died on 25 January 2012, shortly after his second birthday and three weeks before the birth of our daughter, Daisy. Noah had a rare condition called mitochondrial disease which caused his heart to fail and we await news as to whether Daisy is also affected.

We have been fundraising for  CLIMB  and, together with the amazing efforts of friends and family, have raised over £20,000 to date. CLIMB supports families and funds research into these serious and often devastating diseases. We've been told that Noah's fund has already contributed to a step improvement in the diagnosis of mitochondrial disease so every pound is so worthwhile!
