Infrastructure Upgrades, 31 July 2017
To restore and rebuild the infrastructure, buildings & rolling stock to enable severvices to run between Northallerton & Aysgarth

Story

The Wensleydale Railway is
22 miles long, and when we reach Aysgarth it will be the longest standard gauge preserved railway in the UK at almost 27 miles.
The existing track, formation, fencing and structures need to be in tip
top condition before we head further west.
This appeal will ensure that
we are ready for the extension when it is ready for the first trains.  We are looking to raise £1m for this work
