Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is my secondary page for those of you who can relate more to St Margaret's Somerset Hospice than Rowcroft Hospice, which is my main page.

‘The Proclaimers Challenge: I will ride 500 miles and I will ride 500 more’

I’m aiming to do 1,000 miles of endurance rides this year. Or for those who prefer kilometres, that’s 1,610 km. I’ll list on this page the events I’m entering. If anyone cares to join me, you’d be very welcome!

Background

The hospice movement in this country is brilliant, yet only receives about a third of its funding from the NHS, so has to raise the rest itself. Liz was cared for in Rowcroft Hospice (Torquay) and I have a separate page to raise funds for them (click on Liz's name at the top of the page to find the link to it). I'm also raising funds for St Margaret's because they are the hospice closest to where I work in Taunton and Yeovil.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
