Story
Earlier this year, my Grandad sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer. After spending months in hospital, he came to live at home with us so he could spend the time he had left in the comfort of his family. We had many laughs and good times during the 6 weeks he was at home, but we were also constantly supported by the nurses at the Shakespeare Hospice who would be there at any time day or night, to help and care for my Grandad any time he was in pain. He was very grateful for everything they did, as were we all, so my Dad and I are both cycling the Great Shakespeare Ride in memory of my Grandad and to say thanks for all the hard work by the nurses. Any donation is appreciated, to either mine or my Dad's page. Thanks very much, and wish us luck!
