Story
A dreadful accident happened just after our wedding at the holiday home we were staying in with my best friend and his family, please see below.
Therefore, after two months with no exercise, due to my operation, I am trying to get fit in 6 weeks to do Tough Mudder again. A 12 mile cross country obstacle course. I am doing this with my brother Joe to raise money for Devon Air Ambulance.
Please donate generously.
“Ben and Claire’s world fell apart on 23rd July when we discovered there little dude Jacob unconscious in the holiday home swimming pool. The Devon Ambulance and Air Ambulance Services arrived at our remote location within about 15 minutes and managed to get a feint pulse before transferring him to Exeter A&E. Despite the best efforts of the paediatric medical teams at both Exeter and Bristol hospitals, Jacob's brain had suffered severe hypoxia and they had to make the heart-breaking decision to let him be at peace on 1st August.
In Jacob's memory, we have chosen to raise money for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust to thank them for the invaluable help they provided us and to ensure they can continue to help others who need emergency care.”
THANK YOU!!!!
