Story

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to look at my page!

I am raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, a charity that has helped the family of my very close friend Patrick Swinson.
CRY offers support to young people diagnosed with cardiac conditions as well as families affected by young sudden cardiac deaths (YSCD). I am participating in the Cheltenham Challenge in memory of Patrick who passed away in July 2013 from a cardiac condition and would greatly appreciate any donation, however big or small, towards this cause.

I am aiming to complete The Challenge, a 26.2 mile course starting and finishing at the Cheltenham Racecourse on the 21st June. I'm not aiming for a specific time, only to complete it as fast as possible.

Again, thank you very much for taking the time to read this and an extra thank you for any donations!

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
