Story
In the latter part of her time living with cancer, Mum spent a number of weeks at the Teesside Hospice in Middlesbrough.
During this time, Mum not only received excellent care, but also got to know, and developed strong relationships, with the care team there. This is something she really valued.
Some of her last days were really difficult and I saw first hand how the team cared for her and made her as comfortable as possible, showing great compassion (as well as looking after the numerous visitors). Many thanks to all at Teesside Hospice, you will not be forgotten.
Mum named two charities in her will, (this and Bright Sparks, which you can also find on Just Giving) and asked for donations to these two good causes in place of flowers at her funeral.
