Story

In memory of David Brown, much loved Husband, father, brother, grandad, friend and neighbour. Born 3rd Sept 1946, died Sept 12th 2014. To the end David was full of life and joy. People remember his gentleness and the way he radiated sunshine. He managed to be playful, adventurous, funny and curious at the same time as being calm, reflective, thoughtful and wise. Being a teacher was more than a job and being a cellist was more than a hobby, they were deep in him as part of who he was. More than that he was a man of tremendous integrity and love, which he shared with everyone he met. His absolute wonder and respect for the little creatures in his garden through to all the people in his life was evident in every minute of the day. He held his family in his hands and in his heart and cherished every moment. He loved Hestan and we all loved him, more than the moon and the stars. He leaves us with a lifetime of happy memories, and stories to share. He will never be forgotten.
