Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the end of August I will climb the highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland (Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis). Along with 5 others, I will attempt to complete this challenge within 24 hours.

I intend to raise money for Clydeside Action on Asbestos. I started fundraising in 2014 after my Dad lost his life to mesothelioma. However my continued work with CAA has made it clear my tragedy was not an isolated case. The issues they represent are consistently overlooked by the Government and as a small charity they really have their work cut out.

However in my opinion, CAA is still one of the most effective charities in Scotland. The work of their support groups provides invaluable comfort to those suffering from debilitating asbestos induced diseases. It is therefore imperative they have the resources they need to continue their outstanding work.

Any donations would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Joe
