Story

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and support my bike ride across Malawi for Maternity Worldwide!

Maternity Worldwide is a UK charity which works in developing countries to help women and girls access the high quality material health care they need to be able to give birth safely.

As a midwife I am able to support women to give birth safely and ensure that their experience is one of joy and hope. I believe that all women across the world should be able exercise this right.

The money raised will be used to improve access to health centres and hospitals. To provide equipment and resources. Train local midwives, doctors and healthcare workers. To provide communities with information on health so they know when to access help. Enable women to become financially independent by supporting them with small businesses. Which in turn empowers them to become decision makers about their own health and future.

Please donate and support Rose Syrett (https://www.justgiving.com/Rose-Syrett) and I on our bike ride across Malawi and help contribute towards safer childbirth for women everywhere.

Thank you so much!

Jo
