Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Claire Culbert was not only the niece of one of our best friends but she was also a beautiful individual who did not deserve to die at such a young age leaving behind a distraught family.  Claire was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2002, she was absolutely stunning, intelligent, a fitness fanatic and a loving mum of two. She tried so hard to beat this brutal disease but sadly it took her from us in December 2013. Claire was only 38 when she died.

I am proud to be part of "Team Claire Culbert" and on Saturday 1st November I will be taking part in a charity tattoo session at Fallen Angel, Lark Lane.  I will be in the company of our best friend Di who was Claires aunty - she will be helping me through my challenge.  We may not be able to "kick cancers butt" but we can definately get a tattooed one!!!

Please support me and help raise the vital funds to secure more Melanoma nurses in Merseyside in memory of Claire.....her vision was to help others so lets make one of her dreams come true.

BELIEVE we can do it......SUPPORT the Fighters, ADMIRE the survivors & HONOUR the taken!!

About the charity

Melanoma UK was set up in 2007 in memory of Jon Herron. We support patients and families affected by melanoma (skin cancer) and funds raised help to provide that support. We are funding much needed melanoma nurses along with help in vital research. Melanoma is a cruel disease, still without a cure.
