Story
Julie Morse is an incredible partner, daughter, sister, friend, colleague, and teacher who sadly lost a short battle with cancer in August 2016.
Julie was an active volunteer for the Back Up trust, starting out as a buddy on a sailing course in 2008. She went on to group lead a youth drama course, and was a buddy on the first Arts, craft, and Horticulture course. She was due to group lead a youth course in July 2016 but sadly had to drop out when she was taken ill. She was on the committee for the back up ball for a number of years, and was always found leading the efforts to blow up all the balloons and decorating the tables.
Julie loved the work Back Up does and nominated them for charity of the year at the school she taught at for 2016/2017. The school are looking forward to working with Back Up during the year and raising more money and better awareness of spinal cord injury.
