Hi
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 23rd June myself and seven others will be climbing Ben Nevis in memory of a wonderful friend, mum and wife, Diane Stapleton who sadly lost her life in February of this year to Cancer. Although i was not a close friend of Dianes i had the privilege of talking with her at school events and i am aware of what a wonderful lady she was and will continue to be for all of us doing this walk as well as her family and friends. Diane unfortunately was not able to use the in-patient facilities at St Clares Hospice due to a waiting list, therefore we would like that any money raised will hopefully mean eventually people wont have to wait for a bed. Diane was visited by the Macmillan nurses who are now also based at St Clares hospice, i am sure that many of you will agree that this team of people do an amazing job looking after Cancer sufferers and many of us have been touched in one way or another by cancer. I am grateful for anything that you are able to donate and hopefully we can raise a wonderful amount to help people in the future who face such terrible times.
Thank you for visiting my page - Kelly Edwards xx
