Story

For the past 3 years and 8 months the children's oncology ward at Nottingham's QMC Hospital, E38, has cared for Lewis.

The work they do is truly amazing; they provide the best care that any parent could hope for, in what are difficult times.

For this reason, we would like to give something back to E38. They are in need of better facilities and are trying to raise £75,000 which will go towards things such as family rooms, a nicer kitchen area where families can cook together and pull out beds for parents; to allow them to sleep next to their children. The aim of the fundraising is to make E38 less clinical, more warming and family focused, with a real emphasis on being child friendly.

When we were there, we knew that they were doing the best they could, but better facilities in the future will make the families that stay there much more comfortable.

We have been asked by lots of people how they can make donations in Lewis's honour, and this is how we think you can help.

We thank you for supporting the wonderful consultants, doctors & nurses that try their best to nurse our children back to health.

Last but not least, we thank you for supporting the families that spend most of their lives in a hospital ward, dealing with such tragic circumstances.

Your support for Lewis has been overwhelming - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
