In February 2014 our much loved friend Sarah was diagnosed with cancer when she was 18 weeks pregnant.  Sarah had been suffering severe pain and sickness but at the time, these were thought to be pregnancy related.  The news that she had cancer came as a huge shock!  Tragically, Sarah lost her baby and just 7 days after her diagnosis, she passed away leaving her husband and family heart broken.

We have decided to raise money by running the Lincoln 10k. Sarah spent 4 years at University in Lincoln, training to be a teacher and the city holds lots of happy memories.

All money raised will be donated to Mummy's Star, the only UK charity that supports women with cancer through pregnancy and beyond.  By sponsoring us you can help to ensure that Mummy’s Star can continue to support women like Sarah and their families.
