I’m running BERLIN MARATHON next week andI’d love if you could sponsor me – I’m doing it for a small charity HEADWAY who provide much needed support for people with acquired head injury.

It’s super close to my heart as they’ve massively helped my Dad, and so many people in much more need of help than us. We forget how fragile we are as creatures of this planet and how a stroke, fall or accident can completely alter your life and life quality. Headway do amazing work helping people with brain injury, and their families navigate the complexities of life that we all take for granted. Anything you can donate would be so massively appreciated will really help Headway expand the work they do to help survivors of brain injury.

About HEADWAY - Headway is a non-for-profit organisation that acts as a lifeline for survivors of brain injury after a stroke, fall or accident. For some, brain injury affects the ability to work, maintain relationships and live independently. For others it affects the way they think and feel, how they talk to and relate to others, their memory, and how they experience the world. At Headway, our team of specialist rehabilitation staff work to empower survivors, getting them back to what we all regard as the everyday, and living as independent a life as possible. We help develop the vital skills to support integration back into the community.
