The Children’s Magical Taxi Tour to Disneyland Paris 16^th September

With bands playing and horns blaring out and many of our sponsors attending the send-off, many of the workers at Canary Wharf were asking what was going on.

This was the twenty first year that the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers organised a trip to Disneyland Paris on a three-day trip of a lifetime for children with life threatening diseases. A convoy of over 100 London taxis, escorted by the Police, London Ambulance Service and A.A. assisted us throughout the trip.

The next trip is on 16th September 2016 and starts at in Canary Wharf, where we entertain and give the children and helpers the “Big Breakfast” before we depart in convoy to catch the ferry at Dover. 

Putting “Kids in Cabs” is our mission and this annual event is only possible with your continued support, along with other sponsors who generously give toward the £1400.00 per taxi necessary to meet the expenses such as Hotel, fuel, food, admission charges etc. I hope you will consider being part of this annual event.
