In memory of Adam Skinner

Story

In the early hours of Sunday 9 September 2012 my friend, Adam Skinner was tragically killed in a fatal road traffic accident. Adam and I were the same age and we had grown up together since the age of 15 playing the sport we both love at Botany Bay Cricket Club. Adam was travelling home from The Bay the night he died having only a few hours earlier captained his team to promotion from Division 8 of the Saracens Hertfordshire League.

Adam was a popular member of the club and gave a great deal of his time helping to run it. Everyone connected with the club was obviously devastated by the news of Adam's untimely demise and we have set up a fund to build a new scorebox in his memory. We are hoping to raise money for Adam's memorial fund by walking the 13 miles from Lord's Cricket Ground to Botany Bay on 7th April and I would be truly grateful if you would sponsor me.
