We provide vital treatment, care & support to cancer patients in Wales

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I know we are all inundated with requests for sponsorship and there is only so much we can give but I just wanted to let know that I will be running the Brighton Marathon on April 15th and want to raise money for the Velindre Cancer Centre at the same time.

Many of you will already know of Velindre and won't need to be told of the great work it carries out. For those who don't, Velindre is the largest non-surgical cancer hospital in Wales providing specialised anti-cancer treatments for over half the people diagnosed with cancer in Wales.

Velindre provided fantastic treatment and support for my Mum during her illness and for too many others of my family and friends also. I now want to do my bit to help the centre continue to help others in the future.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
