So it’s that time of year again when I hope to appeal to your generosity as I do my 2016 sponsored event; The Craze Ultra Marathon (http://crazeultra.blogspot.sg/).  Craze Ultra is a 161km run around the island of Singapore in the tropical heat and humidity with a time limit of 32 hours.  This challenge of endurance will push me physically and mentally to my limits, but the charity I have selected will be a huge motivator to keep me focused and succeed. That charity is Brighter Futures (http://www.brighterfuturesgwh.nhs.uk/)

Brighter Futures is a charity close to my heart for the support and value they are bringing my Dad and our family as he presently spends time in the Great Western Hospital undergoing treatment for Lymphoma.  The charity have an appeal running to bring a radiotherapy centre to the hospital which at a cost of 2.9M pounds is clearly a huge challenge.  It is for this that I hope I can encourage sponsorship for my event to help the trust deliver this life changing treatment.

I do appreciate that there are many great causes out there that a lot of you support, but if you are able to make a pledge of any size I would be truly grateful.
