Story

Hi,
After recently finding out a friend had been diagnosed with prostate cancer 5 friends decided to climb Kilimanjaro to help raise awareness of prostate cancer.
My friend explained how he only went to see a Dr after seeing a poster saying are you peeing more then normal to which he was.
He went to his Dr and asked for test they set him to the hospital for more tests.
What struck my concern was the current testing is only a 1/10 chance of getting a positive reading because of where the prostate is.
However he and the chestnut appeals lovely awareness lady Leslie explained there was another way to get tested with more instant results.
That testing would be with a new amazing screening machine but unfortunate In the southwest we do not have this machine.
That means people of the south west are required to have the existing methods of testing which really bothered me.
So I decided I wanted to help fund this new machine for the men of the southwest to have every chance of early diagnosis and the best chance of survival.
Our aim is to raise 1/3 of that machine to which cost approximately 90k.
Please help us to reach the 30k and hopefully help the men of the southwest.
Thank you
Matt, Mark, Ross, Jamie, Ash
