Story
Since losing our beautiful daughter Emily Rose (22) to a wild form of cancer in 2007, we as a family, with the wonderful support of our friends, have managed to raise over £100,000 for the young person's and children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent. As a family, CLIC Sargent gave us great strength and support at a time when we most needed it and we wished to give a little back.
So for we have cycled the length of Britain, the length of Europe and the width of the USA. Our most recent adventure, in 2014, was peddling out of England, through France and Belgium with the 'Last Hour Club' to Germany. There have been lots of fundraisers from the inaugural EMBO Prom to marathons, abseils, Races for Life, quizzes and much, much more.
This latest challenge is going to test us to the max! Our aim is to 'Chase The Sun' from Minster on the Isle of Sheppey on the East coast,as the sun rises,to Burnham on Sea on the West coast,as the sun sets - a mere 205 miles! The challenge is taking place on the longest day of the year, Saturday 18 June 2016.

Emily touched the hearts of everyone she knew and those who have read her story.
Please look at our EMBO Events web site and new Blog to see what we all have achieved and what we would still like to accomplish.
