Please help me. Every year I take part in the Race for Life, in memory of, and to honour the incredibly brave fight of two wonderful people, Nana Thornley and Nana Hayes. 

This year I am taking part in the Race for Life at Leigh on Sunday 7th June. I have decided not to raise money for Cancer Research specifically, but for The East Lancashire Hospice, in memory of a beautiful young mother who also sadly lost her battle with this vile disease. 

Sarah, my stepsister was just 36 when she lost her courageous battle, which truly devastated all those who loved her. The wonderful people who work at East Lancashire Hospice offered unswerving support for Sarah and her family in her final days and in the incredibly difficult times that followed. 

Until we can truly beat this hideous disease forever, we will sadly need these heroic caregivers and the sanctuary from where they perform their inspirational work.

Please help me raise as much money as we can. Please, please give what you can.
