Story

As you will all know Cathie passed away at the beginning of June this year in St Leonard's Hospice in York. They cared for Cathie (& all of our family) for the last 3 weeks of her life and without the care, compassion and respect shown to us all throughout this time I don't believe we would have got through this awful time as intact as we are. The hospice need to raise a staggering £11,000 every single day to provide the care that they do so I intend to run/walk/hobble/wheeze my way round the 10k; having not run for a considerable number of years, to help raise as much money as I can to help St Leonard's continue to do the outstanding work they do!

Any donation no matter how big or small will be hugely appreciated and will make the biggest difference to the lives of a lot of people...we've seen first hand what it can do! Even if you just donate the price of a cup of coffee you'll be enabling the hospice to provide hot drinks to an entire family for one of the darkest days they may see. So, thank you for your support.
