I have been involved with Roots Nursery School for some time now. I took the photographs of last years British London 10k and really enjoyed the day which really inspired me to do more and get involved. So now the opportunity has presented itself for me to actually take part in this years British London 10k and give my legs a stretch through London whilst making some money for the school.

As of April the original school building does not comply to the regulations of the Gambian Ministry of Education so fortunately new premises have been found. Unfortunately , they are not in great condition so are in need of refurbishment.  

Thats where WE come in.  Me to run and you to sponsor me.  Its quite simple really and you have the easy part . Just log in and donate. Between us we can make a difference to children from poor families who would not otherwise have access to education. My involvement and contacts with the charity have really opened my eyes to how life is in the third world and its not that difficult for us to make a difference provided we have a mind to.
