We help blind veterans to discover a life beyond sight loss

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my marathon page in memory of Captain Steven Healey who sadly died in action in Afghanistan on the 26th May 2012.

Steve was a fantastic individual who was loved by all who knew him.

Steve was heavily involved with other soldiers from 1 Royal Welsh to raise money for the 'Blind Veterans Charity' (formally known as St Dunstan's) and in February this year, he walked blindfold from Chester to Llandudno.

Therefore in his memory led by his partner Thea, Steve’s friends and family have set about raising money for this very important charity in his memory.

As part of this Aine and I will be running the Loch Ness Marathon in September and I would really appreciate some support to raise some money for this important cause.
