Without the generosity shown by the Sick Children's Trust, Sue and I would have been unable to stay in such close proximity to Great Ormond Street Hospital, allowing us to spend the precious time we had with our daughter Olivia during her short life.

We spent time at Rainbow House on Gray's Inn Road, funded by the charity, during which time we met and built friendships with other parents experiencing similar situations with their own children. Many of those friends we met during that time remain an important link to our time with Olivia, and we are grateful to the charity for that.

As Sue is currently carrying a hamstring injury, I shall be doing the mud run this year on my own. However this will give Daniel, Luke and Sophia the chance to come along and cheer me on.
