Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC)

I will be walking from Duncansby Head Lighthouse (near John O'Groats) to Cape Wrath Lighthouse (near Durness) by coast, roads and a Ferry, which is approximately 150 miles.

The walk is to raise funds to purchase a Portable Oxygen Concentrator which will be based in Caithness General Hospital for patients in the North Highlands. The POC can take over from the heavy and cumbersome big oxygen bottles in the home and also can be used whilst travelling. Having the use of one means that people do not have to wait for bottle deliveries and is safer.

The POC costs approx. £3500 and already through generous donations there is currently £550 in the Fund.

The walk and fund raising is in dedication to my late wife Ros.
