We grant magical wishes to seriously ill children

Story

On June 27th, 2012, I will be attempting to play ten rounds of golf to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation.

At Mortonhall Golf Club, I will spend around 19 consecutive hours carrying my clubs, walking and completing each of the 180 holes. In total, I will be walking approximately 52 miles (distance of two marathons), with a total climb of 4,800 feet (just higher than Ben Nevis), whilst hitting approximately 750 shots.

Along with the challenge, I will be doing various volunteer work for the Foundation to learn more about the incredible work they do in making the wishes of children come true.

My wish is that people help the cause and donate whatever they can to help the Make A Wish Foundation.

On behalf of myself, the Make A Wish Foundation and the kids they help, thank you.

We grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. When a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening condition, it has a huge impact on them and their whole family. A wish provides them with precious memories to treasure forever – whatever the future may hold.
