The Westenders are a charity theatre group in Brecon. We host a vast range of events throughout the year, either to raise money for other charities or sometimes just for fun and to entertain the community. To date, the Westenders have raised over £20,000 for other charities, such as McMillan, Cancer Research UK, and more locally Usk house hospice. This year, as well as supporting a nominated charity, we are raising money to put on an even bigger and better show for the community than ever before – Peter Pan. We have wanted stage Pan for a number of years but higher production costs has not made it viable. However, with the best production team we have ever had, and with your help, we feel that this should be the year we go for it. Therefore, three of us have put ourselves forward to run the Cardiff Half Marathon! None of us have ever run this distance before, and two of us are new to running at all, so we'd love some support for this epic journey. We welcome you onboard our journey to Neverland!
