Story
Not a day goes past without me thinking of my precious son Tristan - not only a loving and loved son, he was also a very special person and a friend to so many, young as well as old. We all miss him terribly! Depression is devastating... affecting so many people, especially among our youngsters... and in turn casting a never-ending shadow over the lives of family and friends.
My family and I are very fortunate - throughout the difficult times since Tristan died we've had wonderful friends supporting us.
And now one of these friends is doing something absolutely brilliant: Paul Peake will be running The Great North Run in memory of Tristan. The money is going to Papyrus - a Charity specifically created to prevent suicide among young people. Please check out their website to find out more about what they do and help them and us to vanquish the stigma surrounding suicide and provide support to those who need it.
Running the Great North Run has long been on Paul's bucket-list and as he's just turned 50 he thought this would be the perfect year to tick this challenge off the list. He booked to run it in March and has been training since May.
Please, please, please make it worth all his hard work by donating as much as you can!
