Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are using this page to record the funds raised for unplanned veterinary treatment of our horses in 2015, before the formal launch of our Emergency Veterinary Fund.
Our rescue of Wavertree Warrior committed us to some major treatment to sort out this wonderful fellow's serious foot problems. His friends and connections, responded generously to his own fund-raising page; see: https://www.justgiving.com/Wavertree-Warrior/. This page is still open and so far has raised £5,488 including Gift Aid.
Subsequently Jasmine Breeze suffered a bout of colic, which was compounded by a bacterial infection, necessitating an extended stay in Liphook Equine Hospital with regular laboratory tests. Volunteer David used his RideLondon cycle event to raise £2,272 including Gift Aid towards Jazz's treatment.
But when Try had a freak paddock accident, necessitating emergency surgery to save his life, it was clear we needed to launch a formal Emergency Veterinary Fund. in the form of a JustGiving campaign.
