Without doubt, these last months have been the hardest ones of our lives. Alice was the most wonderful daughter you could wish for. She constantly thought of others and the continuing messages of support from around the world, show us that her infectious spirit lives on. Creating "Alice's Escapes" was so important to her - she was done with the carey, tilty headed people (Alice's own description)! She knew that all many families needed was a chance to step back and simply enjoy being together. Precious time away from medical routines where memories could be made. While Vicky continues to raise awareness for bone marrow, we, as a family, will do all we can to keep Alice's legacy alive. In Alice's own words, "One Life, Live It".

Vicky and myself, along with Milly, will be attempting to summit Kili to fulfil Alice's request, that we scatter some of her ashes on the mountain she so wanted to visit.
