Story
In 2007 I lost my grandma to bone cancer and just recently in February 2014 i also lost my lovely friend Sarah to cervical cancer At the young age of 36. They were both looked after by the nurses at East Lancashire Hospice in their final days. East Lancashire hospice do amazing work. They receive no government funding. The money they receive is through the public. So i have chosen to support this excellent charity.
So I have signed myself 3 challenges. I am training for the starlight walk, then the Manchester colour run 5k And the we love Manchester 10k. After never running, this was the one thing to give me something to focus on. so please support me in this massive challenge to help raise money for east lancs hospice!
East Lancashire Hospice offer specialist care, supportive care and end of life care for patients and their families in the hospice and in their own homes. To be able to continue their support for others who need them, East Lancashire Hospice needs to raise almost £3 million every year, that works out at nearly £8,200 each day!! So please support us to raise as much money as possible for such a wonderful charity that is so close to our hearts. We will do this for all of those fighting cancer, those who have fought and in memory of all those we love who have lost their battle with cancer. Also for the wonderful staff at East Lancashire Hospice who we can not thank enough for their wonderul work xx
