Story

Coron is a popular destination for both foreign and local tourists, it is beautiful and wild. It has an indigenous population. Its town is simple, its people are warm and welcoming. It was heartbreaking to see the damage caused by the typhoon, but we can also view this as a fresh start.

Coron townspeople and landowners are banding together to rebuild a safer, eco-friendly community, and we are campaigning for the sustainable revitalisation of the town. Please join me in this long term campaign to see it happen. You can make a true, tangible difference in this community's future. We are working with Land is Life in the US, and International Disaster Volunteers in the UK.

Today, we are focusing our efforts on 2 main projects: Barangay Tagum Resettlement Project and Tulong Balik Eskwela (Help to Return to School) - which are both fairly long term projects. If you would like to know more before you donate, please send us a message via the Facebook Page Rebuild Coron Community.
