Story

Well, what can we say about Joe?!  He was completely dedicated to his family and also his extended work family - only the best was good enough.  He worked tirelessly to support Pathology providing endless research and training for all involved.  And when we say tirelessly, we mean it – he was normally sat at his microscope in his office at 4am and often still here past 7 in the evening!

It’s fair to say that Joe loved his food and was particularly partial to a chicken leg or two amongst many other indulgences (coffee cream
chocolates were always a guilty pleasure of his).  So it is with his passion for food that we felt a picnic bench in his honour would be the perfect way of remembering him.

Joe was a wonderful man who touched the hearts of so many people.  He was a good friend as well as a colleague and he will remain in our hearts forever.

Hopefully you are enjoying your well earned rest now Joe,

All our love xxxxxx
