Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you probably know if you've ended up on this page, as a family we've set ourselves a target of raising £10,000 for St Leonard's Hospice. They provided a haven and some much needed peace during mum's last weeks with us in 2014.

With fundraising to date and Gift Aid donations we've raised around £7,200 so far. My mate Paula and I (aka Bunty and Sadie - don't ask...) are walking the West Highland Way this October. We're doing it in memory of two incredible women who were taken from us far too soon, Paula's gorgeous sister Karen and my lovely mum. Both of our families benefited from incredible palliative care and we want to give something back.

If you haven't heard of the West Highland Way, it's a walk starting in Milngavie, just outside Glasgow, and finishing in Fort William, up in the Highlands. With it being October and in Scotland, we're of course expecting sunshine and blue skies the whole way...

I know that a lot of you have already supported our fundraising efforts over the past two years, for which we're all so grateful. If you feel able to make a small donation to support us on the walk, that would be amazing.

Thanks again for visiting our JustGiving page and for making a donation - you're a legend!
