Story
Thanks for taking time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have recently become involved in raising awareness for a wonderful charity, Canine Partners for Independence.
What do they do?
The people at Canine Partners make a big difference. They provide trained assistance dogs to help people with physical disabilities. The dogs help with everyday tasks that would otherwise be too difficult, and provide companionship and support.
Having a canine partner helps the person regain self-confidence. This often leads to less reliance on a carer, greater social interaction, and can also provide a pathway to education and employment.
To learn more about how Canine Partners has transformed the lives of disabled people, please go to www.caninepartners.org.uk.
Or if you would like to hear some touching stories from some of the clients, please go to www.caninepartners.org.uk/videos to hear how their canine partner has improved their lives.
Why England?
Canine Partners is based in Sussex England. “Why should I donate to a charity in England?” you might ask. I say, “Why not?”
I’ve been inspired by someone who happens to live there, who tirelessly devotes time and resources to help this worthy cause. And this inspiration has stirred a passion that has given me a greater purpose in life, reaching out to help someone in need.
Can you help someone outside your own backyard? Of course you can.
What can you do?
You can give a gift right here. Any contribution, however modest, can go a long way to help people with physical disabilities live a better life.
Funds are sent directly to the charity, and your personal details are secure and protected. No unwanted emails are ever sent out.
Please help Canine Partners continue its important work, and help make this world just a little bit better place. Your gift would be more than welcome and greatly appreciated.
With sincere thanks,
Sheila Wray
