Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
May 15th 2011. A date that will stay in our minds forever. This is the day our lives were changed forever. The day my beloved Stan was taken from us all forever.
He wasn't just my husband, partner or best friend, he was my soulmate,my life. He was a devoted dad to Emma & Stacey, father in law to Andrew & Paul. And although he didn't know it at the time, he's now a grandad! He was also a much loved son, brother & brother in law and loved all of his nephews & nieces who loved him just as much.
Stan touched the lives of everyone who met him. He was Stan the Man, the man who always had a great big smile on his face, the man who had time to listen & help, the man who gave a little part of himself to those who were fortunate enough to know him, the man who we all miss so much. STAN.
We are all blessed to have had Stan in our lives, and as we share our stories, shed our tears & laugh out loud we will all make sure his memory lives on, and by taking part in Stans Stroll you will also be helping others too.
Join us in our walk to remember Stan, have fun and keep fit at the same time. If you can't do the walk then feel free to come and wave us off or greet us on our return into the village.
