Without the generosity shown by Ronald McDonald House Oxford, Sue and I would have been unable to stay in such close proximity to the John Radcliffe Hospital, allowing us to spend the precious time we had with our daughter Olivia during her short life in 2008/09.

Our son Daniel was also able to stay with us on a number of occasions while his sister Olivia was being treated there, and although he was perhaps to young to remember, he did enjoy some moments playing with her.

We are very grateful to the charity for the kindness and compassion they showed us whilst we were staying there. We made and built friendships with other parents experiencing similar situations with their own children whilst we were staying there. Many of those friends we met during that time remain an important link to our time with Olivia, and we are grateful to the charity for that.

We are both hoping to complete the mud run this year, Sue having missed out last time through injury. Daniel, Luke and Sophia will be there with Grannie and Grandpa to cheers us on.
