'Dreams & Wishes' is a charity that began in 2011 and is run by a group of dedicated and experienced volunteers who are working tirelessly with families of seriously ill children to ensure that as many dreams and wishes as possible are granted.

'Dreams & Wishes' provided vital support to Macsen Giess and his family,  when Macsen became seiously ill in 2011and they worked tirelessly to help them to build happy memories by granting Macsen lifelong wishes when he needed it most. 

I know that 'Dreams & Wishes' made a real difference to Macsen and his family during this extremely difficult time and Paul, Ceryl, Elinor and Taliesin will always cherish the memories they had as a family.

Macsen was proud to become a Young Ambassador for 'Dreams and Wishes' and his family hope the good work that Dreams and Wishes do, can live on in Macsen’s name. So, my hope is to raise as much money as possible through running the Swansea Half Marathon event in memory of Macsen and to help the charity to continue to make seriously ill childrens dreams and wishes come true.
