We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help beat cancer sooner

Story

Pammie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 at just 40 years of age. Despite intensive and sometimes very gruelling treatment the cancer returned and she lost her battle on 25th October 2013 at the age of 43.

Pammie asked that instead of sending flowers to her funeral friends consider making a donation to Cancer Research UK, so that people in a similar situation to hers may have access to kinder, safer and more successful treatments in the future.

Cancer Research Uk funds nearly half of all the research undertaken in this country.  They do not receive government funding for this.

They also provide both patients and the general public with access to reliable, easy-to-understand information about cancer via their website, as well as a telephone helpline for anyone who is affected by the disease or concerned about cancer.
