Story

Thank you for visiting Theo's fundraising page.

As most of you are aware, our beautiful son Theo passed away after a 3 week battle with his condition.  We were prepared for a long stay in hospital but never for this devastating outcome.  What we were also not prepared for was the overwhelming level of care and support we received at the Sick Kids hospital.  Theo had the best of care from all the surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff and it is impossible to convey our gratitude.  By raising money for this worthy cause, we feel we will be thanking them in some way and also giving something from Theo.  Everyone keeps saying how helpless they feel and asking if there is anything they can do...

We know that raising money for the charity would give us something to be proud of on behalf of our son Theo and it would be comforting to know that the money raised would help families in our situation in the future.
In his 3 short weeks of life, Theo touched so many people's hearts and I know he will not be forgotten. He was an incredibly special baby and will live in our hearts forever.
Thank you for your support.

Love Gary, Nicola & Lucas

About the charity

We believe that nothing should get in the way of being a child. We exist to transform the experiences of children and young people in hospital so they can be a child first and a patient second.
