We raise funds to help people with cancer to improve survival rates in Hunts

Story

Hi All,

As some of you know, my dear friend Will’s father Kim Hayes passed away this year from prostate cancer.

In his honour a group of us are running the Great Eastern Run half marathon for the Hunts Community Cancer Network, which is small local charity that help people who are living with cancer to take back their lives and to play an active part in managing their health.  They were an incredible support to Kim and his wife in the last year.

For those of you who have seen me recently, you will understand that having cultivated my magnificent “Husband Belly” and cherished “Claret Wings”, that it could only be a cause as special as this that could motivate me to put them in jeopardy by running 13 miles, which it turns out is really far!  So PLEASE PLEASE give generously on the link below.

Thanks so much!

We are volunteers either people living with cancer or nurses who work together to raise awareness of cancer, its early signs and symptoms, showing how to use diet and exercise to limit its impact, and how to take back control after cancer or whilst living with cancer.
