Story

On 20th January 2012 my very precious daughter Georgia very sadly, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away.

At this most devastating time of my life Chestnut Tree House came to my rescue and offered a special room for Georgia to rest the week before her funeral.  I can't express how much this helped me, my family, friends and carers as we were able to sit by her side, talk to her and say our final goodbyes.  I cannot thank them enough for their continuing and ongoing support.

Chestnut Tree House is a totally independently run organisation who completely rely on their own fundraising.  I would like to give them something in return so on 14th April this year I have decided to run the Brighton Marathon.  This will be the biggest challenge I will ever face in my lifetime but I WILL run, jog or walk it with one beautiful girl continuously on my mind and in my heart! So all my friends and family please please help to support this wonderful cause and dig deep in those pockets as every penny will count!
