Fundraising for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal
Story
Hello my lovely friends and family, thank you so much for visiting my page.
This year (my 41st year), I am running the Bristol half marathon (not long now - gulp!) and I wanted to raise some money to show support to a gorgeous lady I had the pleasure to meet when working at Osborne Clarke.
She is a fantastic person, kind and generous who has been through so much with her family in the passing of her son Jack at the age of 9 from a rare form of leukaemia. Having children myself, I cannot imagine how she and her family deals with such a loss, absolutely heartbreaking.
Paula has raised money for the children's hospital and has been able to supply them with wii's to encourage the children to get out of bed. Jack, her son, loved Captain Jack Sparrow so she also raised enough money to buy a "Captain Jack" treasure chest to try and make the time that the children spend having their treatment much more bearable. She is now aiming to raise enough money to have a play room at the hospital!
She is a truely inspirational person and I will be thinking of her with every step whilst my feet are aching and my legs are wanting to give up (at about the 10 mile point probably!)
So please peeps, I would REALLY appreicate any money you could donate, hugely appreciate it - just a couple of quid would be AMAZING!!!
