Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June 2016 my lovely grandad, Eddie Aruckle, passed away at home following a short stay in Bolton Hospital.  My grandad's dementia made his stay in hospital a more difficult experience despite the fact that he received patience, kindness and excellent care from the staff on F4.

At 10pm on Saturday 10th September my dog Lola and I will begin a 33 mile walk from Blackpool South Promenade to Bolton Hospital to raise money for Bolton NHS Charitable Trust.  The money raised will help Bolton Hospital to make their wards more dementia friendly so that people living with dementia feel more at ease when they have to stay in hospital.

Please donate whatever you feel comfortable with to support this fantastic cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
