In memory of Elaine Hinder, Welsh 3 peaks challenge

Our family and close friends are raising awareness and money for a charity
close to our hearts, Ty Olwen.

Ty Olwen needs over £450,000 in charity donations every year and hopefully with this challenge and your generosity we can help.

It is especially close to our hearts, as we spent some time there in the summer 2015 ourselves when Elaine (My Mum) was ill. The care & support Elaine received whilst she was there was immeasurable. Elaine was made comfortable and felt safe. And it was a relief to know she was secure with every need attended to, and even though the cancer was too much in the end, we know she had the best possible care in the last weeks of her life. For this we’ll be forever grateful. 

Ty Olwen Trust provides extra comforts and amenities for patients under Ty Olwen's care, not normally provided by the health authority.

Ty Olwen cares for patients and families with life limiting illnesses,
including cancer, and consists of an inpatient unit, hospital and community teams and day centre.  Such work doesn’t come cheap!

Ty Olwen will always have our gratitude and as much support
as we can give.The Welsh Three Peaks is where we will start.
The Welsh 3 peaks challenge involves almost 10,000 feet of climbing and 20 miles of walking plus 180 miles of driving. Making this a demanding and arduous challenge that should not be underestimated. And all in 1 day.
