Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Dyspraxia Foundation has been a big support to myself and my Family since before my son was diagnosed with the condition. They help many people, children, families and adults throughout the country by giving support, raising awareness and  are now even involved with the DfE helping to improve initial Teacher Training on SEND.

They are a National Charity and they are run on a shoestring of only 3.5 full time staff, everyone else is a volunteer.  But it costs money to produce all those great information leaflets, run a free helpline, and have an office from where the conferences and events can be organised  What they achieve is amazing but they now need our help to continue doing their great work.

I am so proud of my son and the way that he has coped through school with the support that is in place for him. I want other families to be able to continue to get the help I have received from the foundation

I have worn a pedometer before and on average only managed about 6,000 steps a day, so this is going to be quite a challenge, especially as I have just started a desk job and will be sitting down most of the day.

Please do what you can to help.

Thank you
